In 2015-16, as we were renovating our own home, we were inspired to embark on a unique journey. It all began with the creation of a serene pooja room, where we collected brass murtis from various sources. It became evident that this was a niche market, with a significant demand for high-quality, handcrafted products that had previously been largely overlooked.

Driven by our deep interest in and strong commitment to Sanatan Dharma and culture, coupled with concerns about the present environment, we recognised the need for a one-stop platform for thematic handcrafted items. This idea lingered with us for several years until the onset of the pandemic, which prompted us to take the leap.

The two founders, both based in Delhi, possess a combined experience of over 35 years in infrastructure development advisory, both in India and abroad, including work at global accounting networks.

Our business revolves around the sale of cultural and ritualistic goods under the brand ‘The Indic Store.’ Our product portfolio comprises six distinct segments:

• Tableware: Our collection features bronze, brass, and copper tableware items.
• Custom-Printed Apparel and Accessories: This category includes personalised items like T-shirts, kurtas, stoles, mugs, and sippers.
• Books: Our selection covers religious texts, works on Indology, scientific literature, and children’s books.
